Our Ministry to You

The foremost desire of our church is to take the message iof Jesus Christ to the lost of our community. We  desire to minister to the total family, and to see each individual grow in their relationship with the Lord through Worship, Prayer meetings,  Systematic Bible study, Fellowship, Evangelism and opportunities for service.

Our Message to You

1. Everyone needs a Savior.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans )

2. The penalty for sin must be paid.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

(Romans 6:23)

3. Christ has paid the price: "…..but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

4. You must call upon Him for salvation.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

5. Jesus is inviting you know.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20)

Our History

Ware Acres (now Camille Acres) began as a mission point under the leadership of Texas Baptist Missionary Ira Waddell. With an arm extended from Gladcreek Missionary Baptist Church the mission grew from 9 members to a growing thriving church by March 25, 1967. Since then she has grown, matured and relocated to her new present facility as Camille Acres Baptist Church of Longview. Her vision has not changed "….

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. "

(Acts 1:8)

Our Future

Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit and guided by the principles of God's Word Camille desires to continue till the Lord returns. For more than forty years she has reached the lost, and matured the saved. She has conforted the sick, grieving and commissioned missionaries, liscenced ministers, ordained deacons and pastors. At present the church desires to make full use of her present facilities and abilities moving towards a second phase building. She wants to develop a dynamic, exciting, serving growing fellowship of believers who impact their world for Christ.

Our Doctrine

Baptist Missionary Association of America

Our Government

The Baptist Missionary Association is soley goverened by each local church on an equal representation basis regardless of membership or financial status. In no way does the denominational agencies dictate to the local church how she will function or what her policies will be.

The BMAA is composed of churches with equal voice, each determining which denominational agencies they will support, abnd they determine thye direction of their associational meetings.

Camille is affiliated with the Liberty Association of Texas, the State Bpatis Missionary Association of Texas, and the Baptist Missionary Association of America. We believe and practice a world wide missionary effort. Our Doctrinal stand is conservative, teaching all men are sinners and Jesus Christ, God's uniquely born Son, is Savior and Lord.
